Photography is the best thing that could have happened to me.

People often ask how I ended up in photography. The short answer: I never found anything better. The honest answer: photography takes me places, connects me with people and makes visible what would otherwise pass too quickly.

Doing work that still genuinely excites me is a gift. That is why I share what I know in courses, videos, articles, podcasts and digital products. Not as dry theory, but as practical experience from real shoots, real cameras and real images.

Pixelcatcher is the place where I collect that work: photography education, articles, tools, styles and everything that makes photography clearer, faster and more enjoyable.

Versatile, because photography is versatile.

I never wanted to lock myself into one small corner of photography. Reportage, business portraits, commercial work, events and personal series all demand different decisions.

That mix is not random. It is part of my work. It keeps me curious and makes sure my teaching comes from practice rather than from recycled textbook lines.

Official Fujifilm X-Photographer and speaker.

My love for photography led me to Fujifilm early on: timeless camera design, strong technology and a way of working that keeps the attention close to the image.

As an official Fujifilm X-Photographer I share my experience with the X System in talks, videos and courses. One visible project was the launch of the Fujifilm X-T3: images for full-page ads in German photography magazines and a launch video that reached more than 30,000 views on the first day.

On stage and at trade fairs, I am not there to read slides. I want people to leave with something they can actually see in their own images the next day. That includes talks at Messe Stuttgart, CMT and Photokina.

Coffee

Good coffee is part of the studio. From pod machines to capsules, fully automatic machines and finally a proper espresso setup, it became its own small journey. Studio coffee is now a very serious working tool.

Being out on an e-bike or motorcycle means freedom. With the bike I can stop anywhere for a photo, with the motorcycle I get out of the city quickly. Both clear the head.
