Capture One FTP Tool
Capture One is great and has a lot of great tools for the professional photographer. But some small things are still missing. For example uploading pictures via FTP.
The direct transfer of exported images to an FTP server is part of the standard workflow for many photographers. Transferring by hand using special FTP software is time-consuming.
For a long time, there was no alternative to this. Until now.

At a glance
- The FTP tool only works with Mac OS
- Compatible from Capture One 12
- automatic FTP upload
- Standalone Software
- Compatible with Capture One + Drag and Drop
- FTP server and upload folder can be defined generally or specifically for each export
- Runs in the background without annoying dialogues
Capture One FTP Upload
I designed the FTP “plugin” for Capture One Pro in such a way that its use can be perfectly integrated into your workflow. Even if it is not a plugin in the strict sense, it works very similarly. The tool can be used in two ways after installation.
In Capture One
You can integrate the FTP upload directly into your processing specification. To do this, we use the command “open with …”. Immediately after processing / exporting, the image (s) is automatically uploaded via FTP.

In the Finder
You can drag and drop one or more images onto the tool to upload the images via FTP.

Flexibility
You can define a separate FTP server and folder for each export preset. So you can serve your customers cleanly, easily and automatically with fresh images directly from Capture One. Alternatively, you can also specify a single – generally valid FTP upload server + folder.
