Borders look great, we agree on that. Pictures with a border or frame are simply more beautiful. It is not for nothing that pictures have a frame in every sensible exhibition. White frames in Capture One Pro: Nothing. Unfortunately, Capture One Pro and Mac OS do not have the option to automatically add a border around the image when saving images. It is then quite tedious to set this margin with other programs.

But: I have developed a solution for it. With my Border Tool for Mac OS and Capture One Pro you can now export your images directly and without further effort, with an optional white or black border in 1px, 2px, 3px, 5px, 10px, 15px, 20px, 25px, 40px, 60px, Add 80px, 100px, 150px, 200px, 250px, 300px, 400px, 500px, 600px width. Of course, your picture will not be cropped but expanded by this border.
With the Border Tool for Capture One Pro and Mac OS, you can define export specifications for different border sizes and easily add a white or black border to your images during the export process. You can export single images or hundreds of them at a time. Additionally, you can use the Border Tool directly from MacOS to quickly and easily add a border to existing images using drag and drop. This tool requires that you install ImageMagick. A 100% free tool. You will receive simple installation instructions after purchase. The installation is carried out in the terminal with 2 commands. All you have to do is copy it from the installation instructions and paste it into the terminal.

There is nothing to add to the previous speaker … the idea is brilliant and works smoothly. Perhaps add to the manual for MacOS users: when you start it for the first time, GateKeeper complains and requires permission to run the program once in the system settings. As a user of Capture One, which IMHO is one of the best Raw editors available on the market, I occasionally come across features that are not implemented. One is an easy to use border tool. As someone who regularly enters club competitions in the UK, judges will often remark that some images absolutely need a narrow 2-3 pixel white border to separate the images from the black projector background.
Michael has produced such a tool which is easy to implement and works well.
