Fuji film simulations rock! <\/h2>\n

I think we all agree. Fujifilm’s film simulations are great. But if you don’t always buy the latest camera, you will not be able to enjoy the latest film simulations. Capture One Pro <\/a> only shows a limited selection of film simulations.<\/p>\n

Perhaps you have already asked google how you can use Classic Neg and Bleach Bypass directly in your X-T3 or older Fuji X camera, for example. Unfortunately, this is not easily possible. But anyway it makes a lot of sense to shoot in RAW format. And when you combine the power of RAW files with the creative possibilities of film simulations, photography is twice as much fun.<\/p>\n

That’s exactly why I developed a solution for it. With my Fake-X Tool for Mac OS and Capture One Pro you can now easily change the metadata of your image files and use the latest film simulations. The metadata of your pictures will be changed. Please make a backup of the pictures! <\/strong>\n<\/div>\n

What does the Fake-X Tool do <\/h3>\n

This tool manipulates the metadata of RAW files. The camera model is changed. This means that all film simulations of the respective camera can be used directly in Capture One.

    How is the fake X tool integrated <\/h3>\n

    I programmed the Fake-X “Plugin” for Capture one Pro so that it can be perfectly integrated into your workflow. Even if it’s not a plugin in the strict sense, it works very similarly. The Fake-X Tool can be used in two ways after installation.<\/p>\n

    In Finder<\/b>
    \nYou can drag and drop one or more images onto the tool to change the metadata. <\/p>\n

    In Capture One<\/b>
    \nYou can process one or more images by right-clicking and using the “open with …” dialog. The film simulations are immediately available in Capture One. No re-import is necessary.\n<\/div>\n
